는 의미입니다.
If I say that I'm broke, it means that I have no money. It can be at a certain
moment or along a period of time that I'm without money. 지금 당장 돈이 없거나, 한동안 돈이 궁할
때도 쓸 수 있습니다. 또 어떤 일을 할 때 자금이 부족하거나 실제로 파산을 했을 때도 사용하는 표현입니다.
In today's conversation Jason asks me to join him and his friends on a trip
to Hawaii next summer. I respond by saying, I'd love to but I can't. I'm
broke.
