| Today’s ｅxpression is tidy TIDY tidy, up UP up. tidy up, tidy up To tidy up means to clean up and to put something in order.
Tidy, tidy 는 형용사로서 사람 옷 차림이나 몸가짐이 깔끔하다, 단정하다, 사물이 잘 정돈 돼 있다는 뜻이고요.
동사로서는 말끔히 치우다, 정리하다 는 의미입니다.
마찬가지로 tidy up, tidy up도 사물이나 장소를 깨끗이 정돈하다 는 말입니다.
뭔가를 사용하고 나서 제자리에 두다라는 뜻으로 이해하시면 되겠습니다.
비슷한 표현으로 clean CLEAN clean, up clean up이 있고요.
